Awakened Action: Being Successful in Any Given Moment of The Shift
The Shift is a curious paradox of truth. On the one hand, you're discovering yourself, and finding full acceptance. On the other, the soul in you is striving to grow and actualise. The Shift is breaking everything down; but unleashing new possibility too. At times, you may find yourself in anxiety, and at others, exhilarated. How do you best navigate in such tempestuous emotional waters? And what does successful 'shifting' look like? Knowing this means the essential difference between contentment and anxious frustration. Let's dive deep.
First Principles of Life
In the Openhand work, I always find it essential to take people back to basics, back to first principles of life - for us to contemplate the big bang, and what was actually transpiring there. Including, what it's now brought us to.
We've considered it many times, but the truth of it is so readily lost, it's worth summarising:
It must have begun with nothing. Or else, you're always left with what preceded it. But nothing can create everything, when we understand that everything phenomenal is simply consciousness - flows of energy. The emergence of Separation Consciousness from singularity was bound to happen, given infinite time. Likewise, once this had happened, Unity Consciousness was the balancing force pulling back in to the Source. Now you have relativity, from which all life crystallises. It's now formed in fractals of an oscillating Universal Torus - each of us like bubbles, in a never-ending flow.
The real thing to then question is:
What's the point?
Gain illuminating insights to unlock your Shift:
Sense of Purpose
To answer this affirmatively, you'd have to assume there was an original purpose, or creative design. I say there was none. But there is now something else:
Sense of purpose.
This happens because the oscillating flow seems to be constantly perfecting itself with ever greater harmony of alignment. It's an infinite super-intelligence, that according to other Universes in the Multiverse, is working its way to perfection - nirvana.

This phenomenal harmony will be achieved as every fractal - every flowing bubble - finds harmony within themselves. This is not only harmony with self, but also harmony in the transitions of life - within the 'Shifts' of life, such as that we're currently engaged in.
So what does this harmony look like? How do you attain it?
7 Points of Focus to Find Inner Harmony
Put simply, it's to come into alignment with this natural universal oscillation.
What this means is several things:
1) First, to be able to drop into the nature of your soul. This happens by beginning to recognise the 'rightness' of any given moment. It's stepping back from the need of an outcome, and instead, working to intuit how the moment is wanting to go. What is it actually delivering? We can say this is the 'truth of the moment'. And actually, you're inherently endowed with the intuition to realise it. Because your soul is intimately interrelated with the universal oscillating flow.
2) So let go of being caught up in egoic desires, simply by realising it's not what you really want anyway. Yes, they many deliver some temporary comfort - soft clicks on social media, for example! But you're always left unfulfilled by these, because they're not truly what life is about. Does The One need validation?!
3) Learn to let go internally, and pick up the sense of surrender, of rightness of self. Breathing meditations help greatly, for example, no matter what circumstances you find yourself in... Try this Breakthrough Breathing
4) But this is far from the end of the story - it's only an awakening experience. Now the unleashed soul will want to go to work: actualising itself in the oscillating flow.
5) Now begin to explore, and commit to, your deepest interests. What did you most enjoy as a child or growing up? What did you too easily let go of? Work to rekindle these interests. And at the intersection of your most engaging three, you'll locate something totally priceless - your passion.
6) Commit to your passion, as much as you possibly can, and you continuously release soul.
7) You'll still have to break through though, because time and again, you'll hit density in the oscillating flow of the Torus - in the flow of life. This is felt as emotional anxiety, intellectual stress, or physical tiredness. Or karma will activate - rising from the depths of the unseen. This is all fine, provided that is, you turn into it and work it through. Openhand calls it The Breakthrough Approach.
Self-Actualisation in Any Given Moment
In any given moment, then, if you're working to reveal and actualise you, your orientation in life begins to change. The outcome matters, yes - the goals, dreams, and ambitions are important, yes. But they start to take on a different significance: now they're drawing you forward, from the limitations of the old self, and unleashing the new.
You engage with the goal, but the real winning is the revelation of you, felt on the inside, as the sense of rightness, fulfilment, together with some new gift or skill, that begins with a felt frequency of being.

Now, even when the flow seems to turn against you and you 'fail', especially in these moments, there is something new to discover about yourself - fortitude, adaptability, and determination, for example.
How could you not forge these
qualities within 'failure'?!
You start to realise you are manifesting exactly the conditions, experiences, and outcomes you need to discover the next best version of you. And if you switch to engaging life this way, you'll always be the winner. And especially now, in the Shift, because this is exactly the mechanism required to navigate through it - to orientate with it.
The Shift in Daily Life
So, as you go about your day today, instead of being consumed in the little dramas that so often fill the day, how about settling inward, breathing deeply, connecting into the felt sense of you and asking:
What is this moment inviting me to be?
Feel it, settle into that. You'll unleash soul, which will feel simply right - no matter what is going on.
Celebrate the awesomeness of this existence and revelation. How, within you, are the perfect components of success in life, always, no matter where you are, and what is going on.
I'm not saying it's easy to find this harmony of alignment. We do have to constantly work at it. Sometimes the mirrors are hazy. But if we keep looking, keep searching, and keep feeling, then the truth of who we are will splendidly emerge - as a felt sense.
I'd say this is the true measure of success in life, and the Shift.

The last few weeks, I have been offering yoga and meditation sessions in a nearby healing studio. I noticed how I have to come into a medium that is already prejudiced—yoga is about developing body flexibility, for example. So it plunged me into an inquiry: how can I center, orient, and express myself with what I know to be true without imposing it on anybody else? This would mean some people who are in resonance with my vibration will get it, and some won’t. I have come to accept that. But I won’t be compromising myself in order to fit into any of their value systems. So it’s a journey of belief in oneself, yet vulnerable and open to change.
I’m also noticing change in my musical expression. The other night I played a music gig and, to my surprise, only 3 or 4 people showed up. In the beginning I was working through some internal triggers this had caused, which were also partly from the audience, but I quickly came into my element. There was one guy who was meditating through out and clearly resonating with what I shared which offerred me great feedback. Curiously, this experience gave me freedom to be myself whether others saw it or not. Hence I could see why I manifested the situation and thus found success in it. I realized that when we are emotionally invested in some way—like needing validation, for example—then surely we try to fit in and allow old value systems to define us. Success is to find freedom within that.
Success is to be in my humanness but not of the human program. It is to embody my soul frequencies yet not distance myself in spiritual pride. It is to find sovereignty yet blend in with systems that resonate with my vibe. It is to approach every day with passion and purpose yet not attach to a particular outcome. It is about being in complete self-acceptance, feeling grateful, and celebrating the wondrous beauty of nature and life, without languishing in inertia.
It is to see all beliefs, including spiritual ones, as temporary forms pointing toward the formless. It is also to be open to mistakes and setbacks and use them as opportunities to find a deeper aspect of myself. It is to love deeply and unconditionally and allow others to be completely themselves.

Hi Vimal,
Your post about yoga and meditation classes resonates with me.
I offer sound baths and meditation classes locally and have often found myself looking at what other practitioners do to give me some new ideas on my own offerings.
However, I have started to feel that some practitioners offer gimmicks that in my view would not add value to the experience.
Not only that, I feel that any ideas for my services should come from me, whilst still being open to ideas that happen to appear in front of me from other sources, but not to go looking for them. I considered briefly adding in some of these gimmicks but it didn’t feel like me. My offering is unique to me, as is the uniqueness of the other practitioners offering.
I have found a level of peace with my offerings since I came to this realisation. Interestingly, after coming to this place internally, my latest sound bath event was fully booked. However, there’s a part of me that isn’t feeling that way about my meditation classes (I’m working on it!) and I’ve only got one person booked for the next class.
It’s the ego that has a problem when only one person (or nobody) books. I just need to find a way to be ok with that and let it go.
Thanks for the reminder Vimal!

You got one person. Brilliant! An amazing opportunity to play, express, innovate and grow. If that person has come to you attracted by your energetic resonance, its invaluable. Then it doesnt matter if its one or hundred. I'm glad you resonate with my sharing and thankyou for the feedback and inspiration.
