So often I find myself sitting on a park bench, in the middle of a city or close to an airport as I wait for my next connection. But I'm never bored. I'm simply fascinated by this story called 'life'. What are all these people up to? Where are they heading? What are their aspirations and dreams? What gets them out of bed in a morning? Sometimes someone will pass by whose really awake, whose not stuck in the 'should does' and 'have to does'. Sometimes they're awake enough to feel my spirit engaging theirs. Their head will turn, for a moment our eyes connect, and a wry smile says... "Yes I know you, you're one of us. You're one of those who looks through the moment, feels it, and connects up the dots into the deeper meaning"...

"The World is careering towards an environment never experienced before by Humans." So says the latest "state of the climate" report, led by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (Noaa) with input from hundreds of scientists from 62 countries, which confirmed there was a "toppling of several symbolic mileposts" in heat, sea level rise and extreme weather in 2015. I know it's not 'spiritually sexy' to talk about this stuff, and it's a hell of an inconvenient truth to process through your consciousness. Nevertheless it needs to be done. Because the 5D Shift can only happen for you by processing through the layers of inner truth. We have to be in reality in order to transcend it...

Essentially, the journey here is all about getting into your karma and processing it. That's what brought you here, that's the learning, evolving experience your soul is seeking to grow through. You have to get out of the mind to access your karma. You have to go through the plane of the emotions and beyond the intellect. Then you can expand into the causal body where karma is held. Stories and parable used to be a popular means of touching such source pain and activating it that it may be healed. Now we have the movies. I was particularly touched recently by the latest Star Trek movie, appropriately titled "Beyond". It's certain to me, the writers accessed a fantastical story that may well have some ancient threads of truth...

The 'unthinkable' has happened in the UK - a majority has voted against the EU 'big brother' state. No doubt there was a great complexity of reasons why the people decided to go that way, including fear, nationalism and small-self interest. But there were also many others who voted for greater personal sovereignty - rather than handing over their conscious choice to unelected bureaucrats in Brussels. During the polling I went into my heart and asked... "what does the natural flow want?" As Gaia deluged the financial capital of London, to me, the mirror was saying - "look what the global consumption machine is doing to the planet!" So what is the greater significance of Brexit going forwards?...

According to the UN, a record 65 million people worldwide have been forced to flee their homes in 2015. It amounted to 24 people displaced every minute. The UN said 'if considered a nation, it would make the 21st largest in the world'. There are many reasons given, but to us here at Openhand, underlying it is only one: the inexorable scrabble for a dwindling supply of global resources, generating war, poverty and irreversible abrupt climate change. We must acknowledge the truth in this. I believe we are witnessing merely the tip of a very large Ice berg. Like the Titanic, society is holed below the water line and sinking fast. What can we do? As always, the Openhand Approach is to confront the inconvenient truth, deal with it internally, expand into ones cosmic self - then to act positively with universally aligned "Right Action"...

I doubt there are many born in these times, who would have thought an ice free arctic possible. Yet here we are, arctic sea ice melting so rapidly, that in just a few years from now, it could be entirely free of sea ice in the summer. Despite the deeply saddening effect on arctic wildlife, the melting ice is already impacting large parts of the northern hemisphere due to increased erratic weather systems - droughts and fire in some parts, intense flooding in others. And with 50 Gigatonnes of frozen methane already beginning to release, in terms of climate change, what's happening today is just the tip of the ice berg. Let's get increasingly real in this Great 5D shift folks. We can't turn it back. We can only go forwards. So let's use every mirror like this as a spring board for evolutionary growth...

A week of firestorms in Alberta has seen the Tarsands Industry brought to its knees. 88,000 residents of Fort McMurray, in the hub of the Canadian oil sands industry, were forced to flee their homes as raging fire swept away all in its path. I've long said that as the shift of consciousness gathers steam, it will unravel the injustice of the old world system with ever increasing mirrors of synchronicity. The Tarsands Industry is a blight on the face of the Earth - a poisonous, destructive, disregard for the natural sanctity of nature. Well now nature is responding for all who care to see. Will humanity witness the deeper meaning? Some definitely will, and therefore gain greatly from it. All realities come and go. If we can embrace the truth, the truth will truly set us free...

It's great for people to be able to see the world's dwindling wildlife up close. But when it comes to imprisoning sentient creatures in zoos and acquariums, is it really worth the cost to consciousness? How much do creatures suffer when deprived of their natural freedom? How would we like to be imprisoned? Well here's a creature that voted with his tentacles. Inky the Octopus made a daring escape from his acquarium when the lid to his tank was left slightly ajar. He made light of 'foot', skidaddled down a drainage pipe, and back into the expansive freedom of the ocean - right where he belongs. Yihah!

Most of us don't find the spiritual journey easy. Personal, spiritual growth involves confrontation of who we truly are, breaking down of the old realities that not longer 'serve' us.
