Exodus
"Uh! Open your eyes and look within,
Are you satisfied with the life you're living?
We know where we're going,
We know where we're from.
We're leaving Babylon,
We're going to our Father's land."
Human Kind
I'm "omnivourous" when it comes to music, but let this song be the first I share here... this song visits me from time to time, mostly when I need reminding why it is really that I'm here...
The refrain could be my "motto":
“I do believe it is my duty to remind you of your beauty / I do believe it is and I’ll never forget. / We’re all learning how to be/ Living breathing human beings / In a world full of others living too! / We’re all dancing in a spiral / Even if we think we’re falling down for a while / The only place to go from the bottom is up / So look at your cup / Cause I think it’s full / This very lifetime is our school / And we’re all learning how to be / Human Kind.”
" I Am The Light of My Soul "
I felt my heart opening amazingly & effortlessly by listening to this amazing harmonious song lately : " I Am The Light Of My Soul " . Many of you may have probably heard of Snatam Kaur ( The Kundalini Yoga lineage group ) ; The song is from an album called " Feeling Good Today " . Words are deep yet simple , going right to the Core of the heart of Who We Are . Enjoy everybody , Love
Well we all shine on like the moon and the stars and the sun...
John Lennon is shining through the ethers today. Here's his song "Instant Karma" to elevate and uplift...
And I feel...
This song helped me touch a deep place last night at a 5 rhythms dance. It speaks to me on a number of levels and the video reminds me of the chaos of the society in which we live and the transitory nature of life.
Into the West
Music is my language these days. As Trinity and Open journey from Glastonbury to the west coast of Canada, Annie Lennox's song "Into the West" from the film "Lord of the Rings" resonates deeply within. This attached video clip of her song features many of the beloved characters from the film trilogy: Frodo, Sam Wise, Arwen, Lady Galadriel, Aragorn, Gandalf, Legolas, Elrond. Shining, courageous, dauntless spiritual warriors. Like us Openhanders. xxx Catherine
The Absence of Fear
This song by Jewel magically came to me today =)
Brave
This song floats my boat these days: Sara Bareilles with her upbeat hit song "Brave"
"Say what you wanna say, and let the words fall out…"

This forum never fails to

Drive
This song came to me today... The words are really powerful!
Drive
By Incubus
Sometimes, I feel the fear of uncertainty stinging clear
And I can't help but ask myself how much I'll let the fear
Take the wheel and steer
It's driven me before
And it seems to have a vague, haunting mass appeal
But lately I am beginning to find
That I should be the one behind the wheel
Whatever tomorrow brings
I'll be there with open arms and open eyes
Whatever tomorrow brings
I'll be there, I'll be there
So if I decide to waiver my chance
To be one of the hive
Will I choose water over wine
And hold my own and drive?
It's driven me before
And it seems to be the way that everyone else gets around
But lately I am beginning to find
That when I drive myself my light is found
So whatever tomorrow brings
I'll be there with open arms and open eyes
Whatever tomorrow brings
I'll be there, I'll be there
Would you choose water over wine
And hold my own and drive?
Whatever tomorrow brings
I'll be there with open arms and open eyes
Whatever tomorrow brings
I'll be there, I'll be there
no time to sleep
Who's gonna sing a song of change
If no one can imagine life outside the beaten track?
And who's gonna stop the running train
If no one cares to dwell and no one wants to look back?
Somewhere along the line you gave up asking
When it got a little too complex
But if you don't question what has been
Does it mean that you don't care what's coming next?
You've got no one to follow
And no one will follow you
Ain't that a relief
That everything and everyone must grow in opposition
To resistance and contradiction,
This ain't no time to go to sleep
This ain't no time to go to sleep
So who's gonna sing a song of faith
If no one prays for anything that can't be bought or sold?
And who's gonna tell the story straight
Does anyone believe there's still a story to be told?
Somewhere along the line you just stopped walking
When the undercurrent got too strong
Someday a lonely busker will come knocking
With a soft and long forgotten song
That you've got no one to follow
And no one will follow you
Ain't that a relief
That everything and everyone must grow in opposition
To resistance and contradiction,
This ain't no time to go to sleep
Oh, this ain't no time to go to sleep

inspirational music "Something More"
THis is Amazing
Return of the Blue Star Kochina
I love it Horse - thanks for sharing. :-)
Synchronistically it begins on Santa Monica beach, at an amusement park there, where after my trip to Hopi Lands back in 2013, I was being metaphorically shown the return of the "Blue Star Kochina" (represented for me in the Blue Ferris Wheel shown at the beginning of the video). The Hopi considered Blue Star Kochina to be the final sign before the "Great Purification" - the Great Realignment - begins.
"Something More"
Thanks Open the title of the song describes Openhand to me

I call it magic!
We're playing this one a lot in the Openhand soulmotion work recently. I call it magic...
Where do I find my amazing music?
The answer is easy - so much of it is from the Openhand website!!!
Thank you everyone.
Check this out - a sky full of stars
Check this out. It demonstrates exactly why Coldplay are so popular and emotive (which is why they appear so often in the Openhand course work). It's so full of energy and vibrancy. Such a powerful way to activate soul...
WOW
That was just awesome!!!!!!
How could anyone....
Some musical food for the soul: 'How could anyone - Shaina Noll'
How to get to the bottom of the list...
HI,
I just have a quick question related to navigating through the website, in particular this thread on inspiring music. For some reason I don't seem to be able to scroll/get to the bottom of the list and can't see any button or function to get there (only when I post myself, I get to the bottom), when I open the thread normally I can only get to the post by Open from 20 July 2015 titled 'Love this'. Does anyone know how I can also get to the posts after that???
Thanks in advance!
Magical

Love to all the Openhand-ers, Catherine
What a great post!
It's the best thing to be introduced to new quality music, the flute player's sound and harmonies made me cry to. Thanks for sharing and best wishes, Neil.
