The Power and the Passion of Spiritual Pilgrimage
I've just returned from a highly eventful and adventurous spiritual pilgrimage in Tibet. I can say, without doubt, when we push the boundaries of our experience, get out of our comfort zone, and journey to the deepest aspects of ourselves, then we gain massively. The power of pilgrimage is where the depth of the outer journey meets that of the inner. And be sure to value especially where you hit challenges, because that's where you grow the most.
Your Spiritual Roots?
My sense of Tibet is that it's a spiritual home for my soul. The pilgrimage activated plentiful past-life memories and brought key dormant energies alive. I don't wish to live there now, because my soul has other things to learn and gain. However, just as a tree cannot reach to the heavens without its stabilising roots, connecting into our past, helps us bring forwards that which we've previously gained and mastered.
For me in Tibet, journeying through vast landscapes of enormous scale and alchemy, is what touched deeply - powerful flows of energy activated readily. Like for example, what I consider to be "Dragon Energy", such as the powerful Dragon Leylines and the Lyran Dragon energies infusing the planet at this time, so as to support a shift in the balance of power here.
It's only when we get out of our regular lives, and our readily constructed comfort zones, that we truly push the boundaries on what limits us. And when you're out moving and flowing in the unknown, that's where you uncover deeply buried aspects of self. And you bring new frequencies alive.
When It All Goes Wrong!
When you're out of your comfort zone, that's when things can easily go "wrong". But you have to be on the edge, and be in a place of some degree of risk, to truly forge your soul.
I was at the end of my journey in Tibet. My permit had just ran out, only to learn that my flight from Lhasa had been cancelled. I relaxed into the unknown, and discovered I could book an alternative flight into mainland China - but would I get to the connecting flight in time?
What followed, seemed like scenes straight from a Mission Impossible film.
I landed in mainland China only to discover the international terminal (not domestic) was an hour's taxi ride across the City, with just 90 minutes till the flight. Although the taxi driver didn't speak a word of English, nevertheless, he was able to pick up the sense of urgency. We drove at breakneck speed across the city through the night - he turned out to be a great driver - maybe an extra from the film?!
I realised I wouldn't have enough Chinese cash to foot the unexpected bill. And so from the back seat, through his Chinese translation app, I was trying to communicate the value of English pounds. And then he had to fill up - at an electric pump! The seconds were ticking away like flooding water into a city sewer. That's where you see yourself on the inside - do you get tight, nervous, worried? I realised the passion and the power of the Dragon in me, positively willing the car along, and yet also felt the frictions of trying to squeeze the beast into too tight a 3D box. It illuminated so many dynamics in my life, of working in the restrictions of the simulation 3D.
I ended up narrowly missing the next connection, which left me in a Chinese airport that was closing down for the night, with no Chinese currency, the data on my phone out, and no way to login to the Wifi. What happens on the insides when you feel stranded and cut off? All star souls here ought to be able to answer that one!
But providing we're able to relax, and especially open the crown chakra, then miracles and magic are going to happen. I ended up in a great hotel, but stranded there for two days till the next connecting flight, which actually turned out to be an unexpected benefit, and most definitely meant to be - even though I had to work with the inconvenience the psyche was feeling. Nothing is inconvenient in terms of spiritual growth, in fact pointedly watch for those moments of maximum inconvenience. Such is the power of the unknown, when you take yourself out of your comfort zone and off onto spiritual pilgrimage.
The Wilderness of the Matrix
The "wilderness" today is very different from trekking across some vast landscape of the unknown. Even in Tibet, surprisingly, the hand of the matrix was everywhere, as you'll see in my video journal below. I even managed to get a coconut matcha latte at 5000m! Today's "wilderness" is an energetic one, of debilitating matrix vibes, of junk travel food, excessive EMF, noise, pollution, and busyness. It's full of purposeful distractions, compulsions and addictions - everything that would pull us out of the soul.
And that's exactly why to journey through this landscape: to be in the place where you're feeling the interference, yet working to forge soul in it - picking up the creative flows from the crown chakra, merging them into the lower densities, and fusing them into pathways that truly serve. You're looking past the distractions, the glitz, and the glamour, and instead, picking up the quantum feedback loops of signs and synchronicity, that help you meditate through it all. What better way to learn and grow?

It turned out to be a marvellous Mexico retreat. The group size was small due to several late cancellations - people going into fear about the weather and unrest. To be clear, reacting with fear is not to be coming from "love n light!!"
If it is meant to, the soul will find a way through, as it did for all those who attended. We had a stunning time, and with such a cosy group, it meant that we could dig extra deeply into the personal journeys.
All those who were committed made it here. And they all made it back!
That's the measure of the Shift right now - there is going to be some degree of risk, as the Shift accelerates. But that's exactly how we evolve and grow as 5D beings. We must be prepared to step into the cauldron of deep transformation.

What makes Tepotzlan so special, is the circular mountain range that encapsulates the small town.
Hence, the Shamans wanted to capture some of this energy and channel it into the village, together with their particular value system of control.
All manner of ceremonies and dark arts were applied here to impose their leadership and will. But I know they felt they were serving the people too, by 'bringing them closer to God'.
This place was no doubt the abode of Quetzalcoatl - the mysterious feathered serpent that appears depicted in statues and carvings all across this area...
The Feathered Serpent was a prominent supernatural entity or deity, found in many Mesoamerican religions. It is still called Quetzalcoatl among the Aztecs, Kukulkan among the Yucatec Maya, and Q'uq'umatz and Tohil among the K'iche' Maya.
On this trip, I felt the ancient power of Quetzalcoatl waning as the old construct goes into terminal decline.
Instead, the naturalness of the mountain and locality, just as in the wider shift, wants to be liberated...
We start by paying our respects to the true guardians of the mountain, these marvellous Twin Flame trees...
We're bringing instead, The Rainbow Serpent to the Mountain, which is about the liberation and Ascension of human consciousness.
It's a magical feeling of arrival at the top - an expansive opening...
Our final act was the singing chakras meditation to get the Torus free flowing across the area...
It was a magical day for sure. And fantastic to feel the old construct waning, in line with the wider planetary shift.

Hi Open,
it's really nice to see some pictures from the area and group process around the retreat centre. I found this image of blooming pink flower ecstatically pleasing, you described it reflecting Sirius energy. It makes me feel like a beautiful harmony is possible within wider community/group setting.
In the last days, I've been picking up some Arcturian signs, pointing to some disconnect and didn't know what they might relate to. Usually some sense of witty paradoxes, difficult to interpret in the first place. Therefore, I was happy to read about the energy around mountain range that you visited, pointing to the process of rituals that have been done there. It feels to me like, when people were "being brought closer to the God" in those shamanic rituals, it might indadvertedly create disconnect from the essence of natural kingdom. Like those magnificent Twin Flame trees, for example...
Anyhow, I wished to share this reached me as some sort of reconciliation with Arcturian energy. Your process in the area shows to me that the true spiritual guidance is picked up by the group of people on the land, rather than being projected out to some "supernatural deity". And yes, I can understand also the role of shamans in the process, willing to serve as the bridge. Even though, most likely, lacking the full embodiment of actual cosmic frequencies.

We switched gear yesterday from processing karmic density to opening the space for the Star Beings to come in and connect. It was an absolutely stunning experience - unforgettable.
Early morning is feeling very peaceful...
You can just feel it in the air - close connections with our Star Being brothers and sisters in the ether...
The light is breaking through in the studio too. This must be one of the best studio's on the planet...
Connecting with the Star Beings is all about expression of frequency. You get to know what vibration they come in on, call them in, and let that particular vibration animate through you. Here are the particular ones we're working with...
The feeling is amazingly uplifting...
We bring the energies into movement and dynamic expression...
Then we're out on the land, anchoring and experiencing the energies in nature.
I find this one has a very Sirius vibration, speaking about community, harmony and connection

We're deep into Star Being karma here in Mexico. We're especially exploring the Pleiadian/Draconian polarity - that of softness, vulnerability, and empathy, versus strength, willpower, and thriveability. Various groups have joined in the processing from the ether.
A key dynamic I've explained in the book AVALONIA, is the fact that each group, the Pleiadians and the Reptilians soul-contracted each other. Yes, it may come as a bit of a shock to gentle Pleiadians out there. And a key problem in spiritual mainstream is that the reptilians have (and are) been judged and demonised. We must find a more evolved version of our spirituality - one that is much less dualistic. It's something we must work diligently to integrate within.
Yes, various groups have been distorted in their actions - including the Pleiadians. Too much love, light and acceptance also causes a disconnect from the flow. That can be just as limiting and cancerous for a reality constuct as the excessive consumptiveness of the reptilian dynamic - both are consuming of aligned soul.
So the contract between them was this: Can the Pleiadians learn and develop the resilience, resourcefulness and sense of drive from the reptilians; meanwhile, can the reptilian energy (origination being Draco) master empathy, respect and sensitivity for others? By coming together in mutual challenges, such as the Shift right now, then each group learns and evolves from the other.
It's actually spectacular when you witness this happening at first hand.
Another dynamic of both groups, as they've been separated and polarised is that of inertia. For the Pleiadians, a way to overcome their vulnerability was to band together in groups in the ether. But this is to override sovereignty. Because each individual now depends on the group. The same has been the case of the reptilians.
And so we worked on building the sense of sovereignty through freedom of flow.
We also worked on embodying reptilian energy and containing it, guiding it, boundarying it in typical physical consumptive behaviour. We did this through meditation, dance and movement. That way, you can actually train the reptilian to become a benevolent dragon energy, which is highly resourceful, willful, but also sensitively empathic - it's a winning combination in the Shift. Especially now, as everything in our environment is transforming strongly.
We are leading the Shift in the establishment of a new blueprint for humanity, and reconciliation between the Star Being Nations through mutual understanding, empathy and respect.
There can be nothing more rewarding!

We're having a stunning time here on retreat in Mexico. The weather is marvellous, wonderful to get some winter sun, the processing is going deep quickly, and there are wonderful early breakthroughs going on.
Getting ready for the day as the Sun comes up over the Pleiades...
Sungazing - just drinking it in...
Down to the studio to get right into the work - the fauna is so lush here, it feels like walking in the Garden of Eden...
Down to it in the studio - the vibe of this place is simply perfect for opening up our fields and bringing in the light...
We're applying Openhand's especially crafted diad work to dig deep into what's limiting on the personal journey - relating that to inner density that we can unearth, process and release...
It's all about listening with an open heart, empathically meeting your partner...
Then, after the intensity, letting it all unravel in the Sun...
After a morning of deep unfolding work, what better than a colourful Mexican lunch in the colourful gardens...
After all that, the energy is moving beautifully!...

We got deep into the personal processing yesterday, removing blockages and density from the Simulation. And I could feel various of the Star Being Nations watching on in the ether, waiting for their time to come in and connect.
There's especially a strong Lyran Dragon presence. And we also worked with some of the surrounding Pleiadian groups: one key aspect we were working on with them was how they'd given their power away to a paternal figure - Ra was clearly in the picture. So we worked with them on embodying the paternalistic energy within, not needing an external source.
You might like to contemplate that too - how you can embody all of the various rays of consciousness, and not need them in the external...

All of our guests arrived safely here at the beautiful Pleiades retreat centre up in the spectacular mountains of Tepotzlan. The weather is stunning; it's peaceful, calm and secluded.
There's a quirkiness to it, which makes me smile...
I'm especially loving the colourful birds, like these little humming birds in the trees all around...
And the abundance of Cactii everywhere...
There's already been a strong energetic connection into the various energies surrounding the location. We've felt Lyran Dragon energies there in the ether, ready to be anchored. And there's been ancient Mayan energy to connect and work with. What is that all about? What karma might it activate? And what message might they have to reveal to us in the Shift now?

There'll be plenty more to share in the days ahead. Right now, we're getting into gear for a marvellous retreat.

the woman of fire

This may be on a personal level but it started yesterday so it may be useful to share. I have been seeing a woman in fire (not on fire but in it) resembling mesoamerican depiction of a human being, thus my sense that it is connected. The name Quetzocoatl was there, from the Aztec pantheon; the feathered serpent and possibly the most widely known name of Aztec gods in the present time.
Although Quetzocoatl was depicted as male there is a tale where he immolated himself on a pyre and became the planet Venus. Thus may be the connection to the visual of a woman in fire. There is a Mayan equivalent which is likely the same god simply hauled over into Aztec religion. The Mayans called this god Kukulcan.
Apart from being a serpent, there was a major role in creation and sacrifice in his name was far from uncommon; at least for the Aztecs. Thus, this may be related to some energies of grief, shame, or somewhere along those lines.
Again, this may be something personal but the timing is very aligned. I feel to add that I have a sense of connection with the Aztec culture but not at all with Mayan or any other of the cultures before them. Over the years I have read and heard a lot about the Aztec times and pantheon. This I offer as a possible explanation why I am sensing things more in relation to the Aztec viewpoint than the Mayan one. Perhaps a woman of fire makes a lot of sense in relation to a certain Mayan deity or figure that I have no knowledge of.
Hoping this makes sense and if not, I will work with it on a personal level. Well, doing that anyway :)

Hi Novumader - what you share is very relevant to the multitude of explorations we're having here - far too many to detail at the moment.
Also, of course, many of the mythologies were passed down, and so distorted or colourised from the original meaning. But I do see the reflections in the "Woman on Fire". By all accounts, Venus had a not dissimilar atmosphere to Earth, but went through a rapid climate transformation through a sudden global warming event - probably a solar micro nova. It confronted the inhabitants directly with the need for Ascension into 5D. Which presents a powerful blueprint for us today.
So maybe the Mayans/Aztecs were getting some pre-warning of these times to come. I'd say it's highly likely.

I've just arrived in Tepotzlan, Mexico ahead of our New Year Quantum Shift Retreat. Yesterday I headed up the 1300 feet to the Mayan Pyramid at the top of the mountain here. Wow. What a way to begin!
It so reminds me of the power and the passion of going on pilgrimage. I often think that generally in spiritual mainstream people think the shift should be easy, and just 'fall into their lap'. That's mistaken-understanding! True surrender is stepping into the path, with drive and commitment.
The journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step!...
As the Shift goes exponential right now, then we're going to be faced with all manner of obstacles and challenges. The weather, for one thing. But then there's unrest, at times, to contend with, and maybe the concern of volcanoes and earthquakes. It's enough to make any hunker down in their shell.
But you see, that's exactly the point of pilgrimaging, where there is challenge and also some degree of risk: it's what tests where you identify in yourself - where you contract down as the ego, as opposed to setting the soul free. That's what love means - to be fearlessly loving of the divine.
It's all about trust. When we dare to step into a venture, and come from the soul, then the Universe will come in to back us up...
It's not about it all going perfectly. It's being self-witnessing as we hit the contractions, opening through them, and unleashing divine flow. Then we encounter all manner of miracles and magic...
It's early in the morning, but the 'faithful' have stepped courageously into the path - some even running up the several thousand steps...
Who should be at the top but Anatoly. He got here early to avoid the freezing weather in the USA - always make sure you're flexible in the journeying!...
It's like an anvil of energy up here...
The views and energy above Tepotzlan are simply breath-taking. There's a saying in British Special Forces: "Who Dares Wins!"

In the spiritual mainstream people frequently say: "If it doesn't feel right then don't do it". But all too often, they're confuing "doesn't feel right" with fear. Encountering fear doesn't mean necessarily not to do something - you're being prepared for challenge, and to work to stay open when anxiety would close you down. If you can stay open, especially in the crown ckakra in difficult situations, then all manner of miracles and magic come in to back you up.
The first time Openhand travelled to Mexico for a pilgrimage was DURING the covid lockdown. Yes, indeed. We decided to challenge the system, the bogus rules, which we're all about population control, and to travel anyway. And, several people dared to join us. It was utterly magnifcient. Great to see Open challenging the criminal politicians and their unlawful "lockdown" during the covaids plandemic . I too ignored the police and the mask mandates and the "lockdown" - but please, do share, was this before the introduction of the jab and it's travel restrictions? Nice to see Heathrow almost empty with a few sane people around.

Yes indeed, it was videos like this that got us shadow banned on many platforms, but I've not regret. The divine encouraged me to challenge, in no uncertain terms.
Yes, the travel was right at the peak of it all. However, we scanned the documentation around the lockdowns and exploited a loophole - you could travel if you were seriously considering relocating. A couple of friendly estate agents in Mexico helped out!
But actually, when travelling through an almost completely empty Heathrow, no one even asked!
A lot of the lockdowns were really a case of smoke and mirrors - they actually had no authority to do it.

I've just returned from a completely unplanned, and unchartered trip in Italy, exploring the latest developments of Volcanic energy there. There were numerous times when I wasn't sure where, or how, to go. It reminded me of an essential aspect of the Flow and being in it...
You've got to be prepared to 'get lost' just as often as you can. When learning the flow, put yourself constantly in the situation of not-knowing. Also, where there might be a degree of risk associated with it - the 'worry' of being late for something; running out of cash or data on your phone. Because that's where the intensity greatly increases. And it's only where you 'break', that you can truly break open into surrenmderedness.
Because it's in the surrenderedness that the flow re-ignites. You've created a greater internal space for it. Now you can pick up the signs and synchronicities, the feeling-flows. Increasingly, such 'break-downs' help you build trust. But trust in what? Trust that it will all 'work out'? No! It's trust that somehow, you will make it through to the next step, and so on, and so on.
It's then, after some time, you look back and realise you were walking a path of light all along!
So I say, when learning to truly walk the path, be prepared to get lost. Because ultimately, that's where you find yourself.
Do review my article above, because I believe it describes well, the sense of 'things going wrong on the path', but gaining immensely from it...

working through nothing versus doing nothing

Hi Open,
I often struggle with figuring out where my question can best be posted. The title of this topic seemed appropriate.
As came up yesterday my experience is that everything for me always seems to come down to the sacral. The biggest problem being a disconnection from the base and absolutely no feeling relating to sacral. When you mentioned to feel a constriction there and perhaps the lack of feeling is the manifestation of the constriction itself.
So here I am trying to experience that particular Nothing and work with it, trying to surface it but since I don't feel a thing I cannot determine if I am actually doing something or just sitting there 'conveniently' deciding that I am working on something that I need to accept is not noticable. Do you have a suggestion on how to make such a determination? Currently I am basically just telling myself that I really mean it but that seems inadequate.

Hi LtJ,
When you 'just sit there', are you working to have your attention in the sacral chakra area? That's important, even if you can't feel anything, and especially if you feel distracted from it - keep coming back to it.
Then watch in your outer life for any emotional reaction to happen.
The key is to persist. It could take some considerable time - some days and even weeks working at it.

I felt to respond to your post as I’ve been having the same problem - not being able to feel the base or sacral.
Outer reflections including health and postural issues indicated that I need to focus on the sacral (something I only just realised after years of issues). The base has always been a dead zone where I felt nothing at all.
I am working through some karma which is activating and waking up these chakras (mostly the sacral) but I still struggle to feel much, especially in the base.
What has helped me just in the past week is keeping my attention in the base and sacral all the time, throughout the day in every day activities and not just in meditation time. By keeping attention in those areas more often than not, they are awakening a little and more insights are coming through as a result. Hi Nikki, thanks for the reply. I am putting attention on the sacral since yesterday as much as possible. My tendency to overintellectualize is in the way as I am trying too hard to put outer reflections into perspective but at least that's illuminated and I catch myself a little bit sooner every time. I suppose I must be patient. :)
I also find the Draco energy offers a stability in the base even without fully feeling the connection. This has at least illuminated the main problem, for me, being in the sacral. I would say to ask their help if you have not already done so and see how it serves you.

River and I made this video a couple of years back when we hiked up the Triund mountain in Dharamsala. The energy of this mountain was so expansive and powerful that it blew us away. Little did we know that Openhand would host a retreat right at the base of this mountain.
Deep meditations, connecting with higher dimensional energies, processing karma, freewheeling walks through the nearby forest to the sacred pool, conversations and music around the fire, and amazing food - can't wait to experience it yet again!

I'm sure that this will be yet another magical retreat. really excited! I can’t wait to be there, surrounded by the beauty of the Himalayas, and feel the higher energies flowing through me.
During last Himalayan pilgrimage, I felt so blessed to be there in that sacred space and to experience those higher energies and activations. Especially I recall how i felt Golden Tara energies and how my connection with Tara got strong during that retreat. And of course, the amazing golden sky feedback that we all watched together with awe. I’m beyond excited for this time.

An Umissable Opportunity to Transform Your Consciousness

We still have a couple of places on the October Pilgrimage to India - I feel to raise it, not because Openhand "needs to sell the places", but because the event represents the most amazing opportunity for growth and change imagineable.
Up in the Himalayas, the activation of the Crown Chakra is strong - especially now, with the activation of the Dragon Leylines and the infusing Dragon Energies. That's going to feel expansive, vibrant and mystical. But also prepare you much better to make change and transformation in your life within the Shift.
Not only that, but India is such a magical, colourful and vibrant place to visit. You could, for example, take a train up to Dharamshala, as I originally did, passing through stunning countryside and a myriad of fascinating villages and towns. Yes, there's the pollution and busyness too, but the Indian way of living, to me, seems so natural and happily surrendered, compared with our carefully controlled life in the West - I find the energy of ease and flow, just seeps into the bones!

Hi Open, it's funny you say "not to sell the spaces", that's exactly the kind of jaded cynicism I've been expressing lately, thinking everyone has an agenda. It's unfortunate I've been not only reflecting all the negative energies of others where I live, but also engaging in my own. I'm too easily pulled in by drama and then dwell in the negativity, feeding the negative feedback loops with other residents. It's the same old teenage sister drama, just really sad because I'm 53. Still grappling with accepting myself. It's where it all comes from. The point of origin. If it's the last thing I do I will find self-acceptance and disengage from this negativity. I see the urgency again, of getting to my SGOB, and learning to let the stuff people send my way just sail past, like the stormy weather of the last few days, presumably from the hurricane. And not creating it anymore especially. Good ithe storms are stirring up the crap though, showing me it doesn't serve me to rest on my laurels. Round and round I go. Seems before I can even really get a foothold I'm letting myself get dragged back out again. Will take much more determination and perseverance. Question is, have I got those? I have no choice. It's surf or sink. What are your thoughts on Emotional Freedom Technique ("Tapping" acupressure points on the body to release stuck emotional energy) as an adjunct to the bow for working karma? Thanks Open🙏

These are fabulous!!! Some of my favorites that made me laugh out loud were the crown chakra surprise, the pendant, and lemon sparkle (very spritely name Tilly!) I got a kick out of Jean's mountainous synchronicities. 🤣 I have to say crown chakra surprise catches my vote! Thanks for the comic relief!!!! ♥️ Love the creativity of sharp wit!

Thanks that made me laugh soo much! In the absence of finding a big enough chain, the next option is a big enough sock - Ann keeps each of her crystals safe in their own cosy sock when she travels 🧦🧦🧦 Even with her wizardry, she might have had a problem getting that stone her hand luggage.

I always love travelling "down under" to Oz - where the people are so relaxed and welcoming. We've got some wonderful energy building for the November retreat and people beginning to book in...
We have a great centre, close to Sydney, yet out in a 100 acres of secluded bush.
